The Home Based Business Model - How it Rips you Off

Every home based business product that I have ever purchased, and some real estate/note products all operate on the same business model, and it's designed to rip you off! The first step to these opportunities is always clever marketing in a number of forms, TV, email, phone, etc. If any home business opportunity that you are about to purchase matches the following description please do yourself a favor and don't purchase it, or if you do purchase it don't fall for the up-sell tactics.

The first step in any home based business opportunity is clever marketing. Most of the recent attempts to solicit me have all been via email, but regardless of the media used it's the same thing. The marketer has been beat down by all the rip off scams out there related to home based business, real estate, selling notes, and the like. However, they have a unique knowledge about working from home opportunities because this individual has been exposed to all of these different scams, and based on all these scams has developed their own which includes all the information that you need! Pause...STOP READING...This person is trying to rip you off. What the next sentence in their email, add, or whatever, should say is, " I have used this knowledge to create an information product on creating a business that will rip you off in the same way that I've been ripped off!" But let's face it, this marketer has already sucked you in and now they want to give you a taste.

So the second step in a home business scam is to give you a taste of a lead-in-product. This lead-in-product will give you an overview of what you're trying to do in the business opportunity, which will be to create an information based product and market it. However, what the lead-in-product will not tell you is how to market it effectively so you'll be forced to spend additional money on other products like, coaching, mentoring, marketing ads, a website, etc. Better still, maybe this person is an affiliate for the lead-in-product, or maybe the lead-in-product is to become and affiliate for them. Either way, you've just wasted 50 bucks, unfortunately sometimes more.

If you're still taking the bait, the third step is to up-sell you the other products. In many cases you'll have to qualify for these products - because they don't want to take any unqualified "yahoos" money - right? Everyone is always qualified it's just another trick to make you think you're special. So the pricing will work something like this:
- Introductory Coaching - $2000
- Mid Level with Website - $5000
- Super Pimp we give you everything - $8000

Of course this all comes with some type of guarantee which they know you'll never claim, or be able to receive. At a minimum before buying one of these packages try to get your money back for the introductory guarantee and if it's not easy - don't buy.

So this takes us to the last piece of the offer which is the money back guarantee if you don't make money. To this I have 4 words, "GOOD LUCK GETTING IT!" It will be difficult, if not impossible, to get your money back. So there you have it, I could have charged you $50 minimum to learn how to rip people off with your own home business opportunity! Hopefully, instead you won't be buying any more of these people's garbage.
